After all those sleepless nights cramming for tomorrow’s exams, finally, vacation has come. I can now complete 8 hours of sleep without thinking of things to do the next day. Though it’s just a 2-week vacation, I will just enjoy each and every day of it. Spending Christmas day with family is more meaningful than those material things you receive. Being charitable enough is all you have to do. Giving love to all needy out there. This statement from my professor really stuck in my mind:
“Give to those who are asking for help, even though they are just fooling you, at least you have done you’re part by giving them something you can share.”
Yeah, I definitely agree. Their conscience will bear it.
Last Friday, I was riding on the jeepney going to the mall, there was this girl suddenly entered, gave envelopes, soliciting, then I thought that maybe she was just using the name of that organization for her own good. I realized what my professor said and gave coins to her.
It’s not the coins that matter; it’s the value that you know in yourself that you lent your hands to others. It’s is the sense of Christmas. Remembering what Jesus’ done for us – all of His sacrifices. Let’s always live by His words.
Advance Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year!
Advance Happy Birthday Jesus our Lord!
